A long time ago, I was in USA and bought for the first and last time a MAD magazine... The style was really unusual (for a guy like me whose only americain comic he knew was Garfield), and I wanted to do a MAD stylish strip some day.
I've always thought that bolding "important" words was making the punchline so obvious that it wasn't funny any more, but well... We all know americains aren't subtle, muahahahaha ^^
